The Mødestedet app is a small social network for the members of Det Politiske Mødestedet. In the app, you log in with the username and password that you received when creating modested.net - and then you can participate in over 30 groups. Each group has its own political area where one can debate, post articles, respond to each other's thoughts and ideas, be invited to meetings via zoom and keep in touch with other members who have similar interests.

In addition, the app has the same features that are known from other social networks. You can become friends, follow individual users, write messages to each other, post your own views with photos and links - and in general use the entire Political Meeting Place as a network of like-minded people who are also interested in politics. You should not be a member of the Moderates or want to vote for Lars Løkke Rasmussen - everyone who thinks they have roughly the same foundation is more than welcome in the meeting place and the disagreement can, must and is thankfully great. Each member can make their profile as nuanced and detailed as desired. If you want, you can easily choose another name and thus be more anonymous - but the vast majority share who they are, as the conversation between people is paramount and the individual's experiences are the focal point of the conversations.

There are 4 supporters ready to help both by email and on the phone - and there are 20 moderators who handle if there is false content, too harsh attacks or direct spam. Users can report what they find offensive - and the moderators will then review what has been reported.

Membership of Det Politiske Mødested is free and has been running since January 2021. All data is on own servers and is not shared with third parties, is not used for marketing or outside the app. Users only share the data with others that they want to share - while the data they share in connection with the creation as a member is only shared with the management of the Political Meeting Place, cf. the rules on privacy policy, which can be read in the app.
